Managing the Highs and Lows
Managing the Highs and Lows
The most recent nominees for the Oscar’s Best Actor, gathered round a table and spoke about their journey to fame, as well as the struggles and difficulties that they had to overcome to get to where they are today.
Whilst their journeys are extremely fascinating it was a piece from Jeremy Pope, who was nominated for his role in ‘The Inspection’ that was perhaps the biggest takeaway. In this moment, the actor explains how he struggled with the highs being so high, and the lows being so low, and that he just wanted a steady in between. It was his therapist that explained to him at the time, that if you compared your life to a heart monitor, and stayed on a steady line, in between, you would flatline and die.
Thus, why it is so important to enjoy the good moments in your life, and grow from the bad moments, because neither will last too long, but both are equally important.
