With Winter almost done and dusted, Summer is only around the corner. With those longer and warmer days, typically comes, spending more money. However, there are some easy ways to help budget your summer allowance, to help you save money without realising.
1. Create a shopping only email address
Nowadays we are constantly bombarded with advertisements and deals through our emails, some that are too tempting to resist. By creating a shopping only email address, that you only look at when you need to make a purchase, you are removing that temptation.
2. Make a list of go–to inexpensive activities for when boredom strikes
Having a list of activities for things to do that don’t cost money is something that you can do all year round, but it can be especially useful over the summer months. With friends and family jetting off at any stage over the period, you may find yourself sitting at home bored. To avoid spending money to cure the boredom, make a list of other activities that don’t cost a penny to occupy your time.
